The youth organizations give humanitarian aid for the security forces and the evacuated families

Since the start of the "Swords of Iron " war, youth organizations from all sectors have contributed to strengthening the home front and the security forces by collecting, packaging and transporting food, hygiene and complementary products. Every week dozens of trainees volunteer at the municipal collection centers and designated centers set up by the youth organizations and send packages all over the country. The security forces and the families of the evacuees see this as a significant hug that helps them both physically and in the fighting spirit and resilience they need these days

The youth organizations for the farmers

Following the events of October 7, 2023, there was a huge shortage of workers in the agricultural industry and extensive agricultural areas were declared "risk areas". Many farmers in the State of Israel have found themselves without working hands and with thousands of acers of agricultural crops that are rotting away. The youth organizations, for which Zionism is a leading value in their day-to-day work, immediately got involved in the task and they go out every day to all parts of the country and perform dozens of hours of agricultural volunteering in the various farming branches

The youth organizations help in educational activities for children and youth who were evacuated from their homes

Unfortunately, the " words of Iron" war has left thousands of families, children and youth as "refugees in their own country." Hundreds of families were left without a roof over their heads and thousands of others were evacuated from their homes. In light of this, dozens of centers for displaced families and children were created in our small country where many families have to deal with a lack of an educational framework and with a continuous fear of the events of the war and the fate of enlisted family members. The youth organizations have already joined the task in the first week of fighting and set up educational systems in the evacuees' centers that help the evacuated youth and children to take a break, regroup and deal with the difficult events they have gone through. The youth organizations are doing their best to give these children and youth a place of sanity

The youth organizations are working for the accessibility of information and life-saving actions

From day one of combat, the youth organizations take a significant part in saving lives, this assistance is expressed both by many hours of volunteering together with the rescue and emergency forces and by delivering practical courses to the general public that will help it save lives if necessary. In addition, many organizations deal quite a bit with providing accessibility of life-saving information by the Home Front Command to trainees and their families, with an emphasis on communities that are not exposed or not sufficiently aware of this information

Many children and teens are dealing with high exposure to difficult images and content, alongside the fear and distress of these times
